This project involved the renovation of a two story house in Vredehoek as well as the adjoining studio apartment on the property. The open plan living area and kitchen became the focus of the house, with featured ceilings and a central fire place. We worked with a soft palette of grey tones and timber in order to create a light and warm space. We worked with an seamless marbled look in the kitchen and bathrooms of the main house, and finished the studio apartment with a stronger and more durable palette of materials. We provided input into the selection of furniture and sanitary ware. The outdoor spaces were refurbished in order to maximize on enjoyment of the mountain views.
